Juniors are mad!!
they ran 16.6 km in 3 days..
and that's just the jogging part..
then they still run a lot of up and down court..
they're super duper fit!!

but then..
they're strong..
and they're out to get the title..

but then..
heard that this year...
only HC and RJ can make it..
the rest no power..
even SA also got no good players..
so hopefully our juniors will do us proud..
and VJ will be champ!!!

Hmmmmmmm i shall NOT answer that question. But its quite obvious right?! Lol. =p Wait for the surprise. Though its not a surprise that is worth waiting and hoping for haha.

And so i decided to exercise everyday. And I have kept it up for the past two days. Great accomplishment right. Haha.

Tuesday - cycling for 20 min and swimming
Wednesday - cycling for 10 min and jogging for 10 min

I know. Its very little compared to what ting and jo are doing everyday. =( Haha. But im too lazy plus i prefer to sleep. Sleep and sleep. Thats what i've been doing for most of the time these 2 days.

Anyway went back to see the juniors yesterday and to whine to coach about how I disliked playing in NUS, and also to moan about how he should start a club team. Anyway though he's not as adverse to starting a club as he used to be, the good news is that DongLiShuShu might be starting a club team!! If so, I'll probably join. Anyone else interested?!

And Mr Tan went to ring up the HC HOD of PE to make sure that HCI won't purposely lose to RJ and the HOD created such a big hoo-ha by going down personally to supervise the HCI vs RJ match. Guess what, the HCI coach almost got sacked cos' she wasn't happy about the supervision. Think something happened. So the thing is she was saying the next time they meet us they will not just thrash us but kill us. Whoopeedoo. So we must win every game to avoid meeting the bloodthirsty HCI.

JJC on 4th May (weds) SRJC 9th May and NYJC 11th May. Time not sure.

Anyway, Mr Tan rang up the HOD of PE of HCI to "make sure" that HC won't purposely lose to RJ. So the HOD went down personally supervise the whole match and the coach was almost sacked. So HC now hates us, esp the coach, and we must win everything to avoid those bloodthirsty people!

We got a super good draw. Girls - SRJC JJC NYJC and Guys- HCI MJC SRJC. We hoping to top the table to avoid meeting HCI again. The next group for girls is AJC SAJC HCI and NJC? I dunno which is the runner-up for group D. But coach thinks sajc is gonna be out cos ajc quite strong this year. Watching coach carter as a team tml at 350 which means that some of us get to pon lessons. How cool is that!? Heh. Anyway, jo and ally, continue to pray for us ya that we will get into the finals smoothly. Hope the move will inspire us to kick all their butts + slam dunk heh.

Fixtures will be up as soon as I know them which is prolly tml.

Anyway, we ( me, vanessa, melissa, kai xin, trina and trisha- a badminton girl) ran from vj to sbc for our "6km" jog heh. Milestone for me sia wahahaha.

Anyway guys won RJC 54-53. And apparently coach told us that guang yi had been spreading around that coach is a lousy coach and if he was coaching vj he would have done better. BOO. Crap person. So coach went over and shook his hand and said 赢你一分就够了谢谢。So yeah. Guys only need to beat CJC on weds and they are in the 2nd round and top of their group. We are runners-up in our group so the best draw for us is NYJC JJC and NJC. Really weird. Top 8 this year- HCI, VJC, JJC, SAJC, AJC, NYJC, NJC, SRJC. 2nd round starts on 4th 6th 8th May. Haha the juniors aren't that bad off. Think me and dawn are really getting 90% of it. Anyway we won tjc 56-25 yep. The best thing was that all of us went down and all of us (except for poor amelia) scored at least 2 points against them wahahaha. =D But dawn was quite upset cos tjc apparently said our defence sucks and that we are not good yet very cocky. Ahh sore losers. 1 point to note also that the tjc bball guys super noisy and irritating and was counting down to 24 secs and vanessa shut them up by chopping a 3-pointer at the last 3 seconds. Their faces were classic!!

Basically that was it lah. Guys won YJC about 10 points too. Thinkg they got a really good chance to get into top 4 and they deserve it lah. Whereas for us, I think we really very cham sigh. People who watch us play say that we are very individualistic players. Time to ask coach how. Btw, JJC with cheryl poon beat SAJC about 10 points too. This year A div really weird haha.

to my dear juniors..especially e year1s..no one took more scoldings from coach tattoo than me..dun believe jus ask any seniors..my advice to u: just listen..dun argue back..duno wat's he's scolding & correcting u..still dun argue..wait till he finish & cool down a bit..then ask him to explain again...spoken from experience..& yes..i did cry after he scold me..but i wont cry in front of him..maybe cos i'm a "act-strong" person who won't cry easily in front of others..so i'll jus cry by myself..but listen carefully..it helps...though i'm still not good..but he made me a better player than before...any complains can tell me...think i've experienced every temper & scolding he has for us...

on a lighter note..come to think of it..it's amazing that i know quite a few yr 1s..trina..cos she's my best junior from Cedar..(if u're reading this..be happy..haha..) amelia..(is that how it's spelled?)..she's my primary sch fren,Kevin's sister..so qiao rite? melissa..(the AHS one) cos i saw her when she came for open house & when mic was in hospital..haha...the other melissa..(the dunman one) cos she's in one of e classes i look after when i was a prefect in primary sch..(if u're reading this..how's ur sister, edwina? tell me ya? jus get my number from trina or e yr 2s..)

So we won RJC 59-50 and it could have been more sigh. But Serene is really good though I don't really think she is as pretty as people described. (er-hemm xiang) Guys won TJC 64-57 and they totally deserve it, seeing they train 5 days a week under manical Alvin lol.

hey..no doubt hc is better..but you were good too..it's jus your 1st match..dun put too much pressure on yourselves k? there's one thing that no one can take away & that's the determination to win..After watch Coach Carter..i got that meaning even more..nothing can stop you if you work together & grow as a team..you're CHAMPIONS..& champions dun give up easily..

ok..maybe cos it's me..but it's wat you all told me when i played..i can firmly say that i'm a lousier point guard than mic & the new J1s..i dun hv your good dribbling or better "view" on court..trina is better in that than me..but you all told me that i had a very "strong" point as a point guard--determination..that's why i'm telling the new point guard..& the whole team..FIGHT ON!!! it's something that will make you turn your about-to-be defeat into a victory....

A few tips for the interviews though I think its a little too late.

- Read up on the scholarship/award/uni
- Read the newspapers!! At least know some recent earth-shaking news and have some personal views eg. casino (talking about the casino makes my blood boil!)
- Know who you are and what you want (This is the hard part cos even after meeting two psychologists, I'm still not sure. Btw, I din go looking for psychologists. It was part of the selection process which was certainly uncalled for. )
- And most importantly of all, SMILE when you are stuck/ blanked out which jialing did especially well =D Of course don't keep smiling and smiling or they'll think you are a real nut case. Those few seconds are meant for you to think of something to crap out. Anything. Just say something. Haha!

Thats all. But don't be disappointed if these fail you. Cos I have been rejected dunno-how-many times le. Haha! So well, just to decorate the blog and leave my mark. Haha!

Last but not least, all the best juniors for tmr's match and the subsequent subsequent subsequent matches all the way to the finals! Oops are we stressing them too much? Wuahaha!

I just watched Coach Carter. Was so inspired! Juniors you should go watch too. Darn inspiring. Damn it man, actually made me want to train.

Anyways, yeah i'll be going on Monday. Whoopeee!!! I think its gonna be darn exciting. Shall i bring balloons and posters and stuffs? Hahaha

If we lose to HCI, we may meet AJC and SAJC in the 2nd round and it will be like history repeating itself for the 4th time or something.

Hello people!

Anyway just wanted to say that I'm confirm staying in Singapore. I got an offer by PSC to study econs and law at NUS with a Local-Overseas Scholarship, so you all won't be missing me too much. =)

To Jialing:
Oei. Say what got no talent? How about writing? And prac crit skills? I'm sure that counts for something. The only thing I had to show for external ability was writing, and it still went okay for me. Key thing is to get the interview, then when you are in the interview, go whack them and you'll get what you want!

Okay. Need to go mark essays now. Last note, anyone going for the juniors' match against HCJC next monday? ie, the eighteenth. Ally and I should be going, and Michelle should be putting up their match schedules here soon. Hope to see ya'll there.

Girls,advise me on what to do for interviews?I ticked for Category B which states something like 'special interest AND TALENT, wonder-fucking-ful background and achievements'.I know i dont belong to this category but Category A was 'Outstanding academic records'.

Only Ally the Genius and various others of you out there can qualify for that!

Now i have to think up a 'special talent' that i have.What,always slacking and then manage to pull through at the last crucial part?
